I am looking into landscapes and how they are important to our identities, our memories and sense of belonging. The key ideas are exploring why do we as humans seek out these natural landscapes. We use them for aesthetic inspiration, spiritual, creative and scientific reasons. These landscapes help us with perspective as our time on this earth is fleeting, yet we are destroying these landscapes for short term gains.

This collection explores interpretations of “comfort” through examining visual content of landscapes and how they can ground us and why they mean so much to us. Drawing on the ideas of comfort through lounge wear and using it in hand with my visual research of landscapes.

This collection is aimed at women aged between 18-25 who want to do their little bit for the environment and embrace it. I see my collection being worn in a wide range of places such as a protest or to use lounge around the house.
